Crypto infrastructure firm Fireblocks has unveiled a new enterprise-grade stablecoin network aimed at helping financial institutions and fintechs issue and move USD-pegged tokens across multiple platforms.

The network, already supporting more than 40 participants, includes major names such as Circle, Bridge, Zerohash, and Yellow Card. Circle, the issuer of USD Coin (USDC), the world’s second-largest stablecoin, is a key partner in the effort.

Michael Shaulov, Fireblocks’ co-founder and CEO, described the system as the “backbone of stablecoin payments.” By offering unified APIs, specialized workflows, and infrastructure purpose-built for stablecoin use cases, Fireblocks says it can provide banks and fintechs with the ability to securely transfer value across different providers, blockchains, or even traditional fiat rails.

The launch comes at a time when stablecoins are increasingly viewed as one of the most important bridges between traditional finance and blockchain ecosystems. Analysts estimate the market could eventually expand into the trillions of dollars, creating major opportunities for infrastructure providers behind the scenes.

For large financial players like Bank of America, which has explored the idea of issuing its own USD-backed tokens, platforms like Fireblocks’ could offer the missing piece of scalable, compliant payment rails. If adoption grows, Fireblocks’ network could become a critical layer powering the next phase of global digital finance.
