Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, recently criticized Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen over his substantial donations to support Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

Hoskinson joined Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in voicing concerns about the Biden-Harris Administration, which they believe is contributing to national division and endorsing the use of lethal force against American citizens.

Responding to a post by RFK Jr. on X, Hoskinson echoed his concerns regarding the political landscape. RFK Jr. took issue with Harris’s remarks labeling Donald Trump as “fascist,” while highlighting the administration’s advancement of DoD Directive 5240.01.

This directive reportedly grants the Pentagon unprecedented authority to use lethal force against American protesters on domestic soil, a move that Hoskinson described as a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878.

Additionally, Hoskinson expressed disappointment with Larsen’s $11.8 million donations to the Democratic Party. He emphasized that the cryptocurrency sector is still navigating regulatory challenges, and such political contributions could undermine its foundational principles of decentralization and neutrality.
