WisdomTree is taking a bold step in the asset tokenization space by expanding its institutional investment platform, WisdomTree Connect.
The platform now supports 13 tokenized funds across five blockchain networks, marking a significant push towards integrating traditional finance with blockchain technology.
Previously limited to Ethereum, WisdomTree Connect has now added support for Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, and Optimism. This expansion allows institutional investors to interact with the funds using either US dollars or Circle’s USDC stablecoin. Additionally, assets can be managed through both third-party and self-custodial wallets, offering greater flexibility and control.
According to the company, this update makes WisdomTree Connect the most extensive institutional platform for tokenized real-world assets (RWA). The newly available tokenized funds span various asset classes, including money market funds, equity index funds, fixed income funds, and asset allocation funds.
Among the notable offerings are the WisdomTree Government Money Market Digital Fund (WTGXX), designed to give investors exposure to short-term government securities. Additionally, the platform features equity index products like the WisdomTree 500 Digital Fund (SPXUX) and the WisdomTree Technology & Innovation 100 Digital Fund (TECHX), which track major stock market indices.
By integrating more blockchain networks and diversifying its fund offerings, WisdomTree is positioning itself at the forefront of digital asset innovation, catering to the growing demand for tokenized financial products among institutional investors.
