Elon Musk’s Grok Predicts Price of Solana, XRP, HYPER by End of 2026
With Donald Trump’s latest tariff threats spooking global financial markets, crypto investors are once again finding themselves faced with turbulent times. Bitcoin and Ethereum have both seen sudden dips that played out in just a couple of hours this morning, putting BTC down 2.2% and ETH down 3.1%. This volatility demonstrates the importance of AI tools like Elon Musk’s Grok, which help analysts to quickly sort through the online noise and work out exactly what’s going on.
Grok in particular has become a notable name in the finance space, after an early beta version of Grok 4.2 won an AI trading competition and achieved gains of 12.11%. We asked the latest public version of Grok for its Solana, XRP, and Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) price predictions, to see how it would fare with a mix of established cryptos and one of the market’s leading presales. The AI’s responses were impressively realistic, indicating that HYPER could outperform Solana and XRP due to its early-stage status and nearly $31 million fundraising total.

Solana (SOL)
According to Grok’s latest analysis, Solana was on a rocket-like trajectory between late December and the past weekend, when the Trump tariff news set SOL back around 7.5%. However, Solana’s fundamentals remain strong, including upgrades like Firedancer that could crank the Layer 1 chain’s TPS (transactions per second) rate beyond 1 million while slashing finality to under 150ms – making Solana the go-to for high-speed DeFi and payments.
With stablecoins exploding, Solana’s co-founder projections targeting $1 trillion in ecosystem value, and institutions piling in via new validators like Coinbase, SOL’s utility is almost unmatched. Grok also considered regulatory tailwinds from bills equating SOL to Bitcoin – plus booming TVL (Total Value Locked) at $9 billion, meme coin frenzies driving volume, and Solana’s potential ability to eclipse Ethereum L2s in terms of efficiency.
In Grok’s view, Solana could achieve mainstream infrastructure dominance in a bull market where crypto adoption steps up another level, propelled by lower US interest rates and global tokenization trends. The AI stated that “reaching $350 by December is dead-on realistic,” noting that several experts have even higher targets for SOL this year.
XRP (XRP)
XRP has already benefited from major developments like clear regulatory wins and skyrocketing institutional adoption over the last several months. With Ripple’s SEC lawsuit fully resolved and the CLARITY Act paving the way for seamless US operations, Ripple’s ecosystem “is now a magnet for banks and funds” according to Grok. Spot XRP ETFs have already pulled in billions of dollars, slashing available supply while demand surges from global partnerships like those in Japan and Europe.
With the above in mind, Grok sees XRP as “primed for explosive growth in 2026.” Adding in further events like the RLUSD stablecoin burning through XRPL fees and the EVM sidechain unlocking DeFi potential, Grok predicts that XRP could become “the backbone of cross-border finance.” This utility boom, combined with a broader crypto bull run fueled by Fed rate cuts and Trump-era policies, would encourage massive inflows into XRP-based products, pushing the coin to break above its all-time high.
Given the above, XRP hitting $6 could even be conservative given its recent momentum. Experts at Standard Chartered see $8 as achievable through banking integration and ETF hype, while other forecasts point to even higher multiples if XRP achieves a similar level of dominance to Bitcoin. From current levels, $6 XRP would be roughly a 3x – so in Grok’s view, Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) could be a much higher-upside bet in 2026.
Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER)
Looking ahead to later in Q1, Bitcoin Hyper – a presale project that’s building potentially the fastest-ever Bitcoin Layer 2 chain – could be a serious “game-changer for Bitcoin’s ecosystem,” according to Grok. The new L2 will be powered by the Solana Virtual Machine, allowing the network to process thousands of transactions per second with sub-second finality and “dirt-cheap fees” while connecting its own security to Bitcoin’s Layer 1.
This would mean solving BTC’s core pain points (slow speeds, high costs, and a lack of truly flexible smart contracts), potentially unlocking a “trillion-dollar DeFi explosion” while using Wrapped BTC for staking, DEXs, NFTs, and gaming dApps.
With almost $31 million raised in presale, a 21 billion fixed HYPER supply, and 38% APY staking rewards drawing in whales, HYPER’s combined utility as a gas payment, governance, and staking incentive token could set it up for mass adoption in 2026. As Bitcoin hits new yearly highs amid ETF inflows and regulatory clarity, Grok expects HYPER to “ride that wave, capturing idle BTC liquidity and outpacing rivals with its superior scalability and developer tools.”
Grok said that “a 100x surge to $1.36 by December is realistic,” based on HYPER’s current presale price of $0.013605, and could even be “locked in” as long as sufficient momentum continues. This echoes expert forecasts that predict similar average values for HYPER in 2026, and considers HYPER’s live staking APY rate of 38%. Grok also allowed for the possibility that 100x gains could take slightly longer to play out, possibly stretching into 2027 or 2028 – but this may not matter to investors with long enough time horizons.
