The month of “Uptober” is living up to its name after Bitcoin (BTC) set yet another all-time high record of $125,559 on Sunday. So far today, we’ve seen a natural and potentially brief pause – but BTC is still up 10% week-on-week, and has gained 11% in the last month. This is primarily due to the double-bottom chart pattern that Bitcoin established throughout September, and bulls will be looking to flip $125,000 from resistance into support in order to complete that textbook move.

Altcoins are also impressing investors, as CoinMarketCap’s Altcoin Season index stands at 63 – meaning that 63 of the top 100 alternative cryptocurrencies are outperforming Bitcoin right now. Solana (SOL) has achieved slightly higher gains than Bitcoin (up 11% in seven days and 14% in the last month), while Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER), which integrates technology from both Solana and Bitcoin, is shooting ahead after raising over $21.6 million in its ongoing token presale.

In our latest Bitcoin price prediction, we’ll see what it’ll take to get BTC above $150,000 during the current bull run. We’ll also find out how Bitcoin Hyper is benefiting from its own combination of innovative technology and broader market hype.

Bitcoin Breaks $125,000 – Is $150,000 Possible in 2025?

So much has happened in the last week that it’s worth starting with a short recap of recent events. A little over a week ago, many crypto investors were fearing the worst as Bitcoin broke below $110,000 and threatened to drop even lower. Fortunately, BTC rebounded so powerfully that it still has not finished surging – even after setting record highs above $125,000.

In hindsight, we can see that Bitcoin ran through a classic double-bottom chart pattern that has now almost completely played out. All that remains to be seen is whether or not BTC’s price can break firmly above $125,000 and turn that level into support. The analyst Jelle has noted that Bitcoin also printed its highest weekly close as of Sunday night, which could lead to further runs above $150,000 in Q4.

Fundamental analysts (especially on Wall Street) will also be looking beyond price charts and watching key macro indicators like Bitcoin ETF inflows ($3.24 billion last week). The CME Group’s FedWatch tool – which currently shows a 95% chance of a 25-basis U.S. interest rate cut on October 29 – also supports a bullish outlook for BTC and crypto in general, as rate cuts tend to drive investors toward riskier opportunities. Even if Bitcoin does take a breather or even fall back from today’s levels, its long-term uptrend still extends into 2026, so extra patience may be needed in that case.

Of course, Bitcoin’s potential upside is extremely limited – and even if Jelle’s $150,000 Bitcoin price prediction plays out, it would mean a gain of roughly 22%. Therefore, smart money investors are already hunting for tokens that could explode and bring in far more significant profits. Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) has become a top-trending project in the crypto presale space, and could remain a strong option as long as Bitcoin continues dominating the market.

Bitcoin Hyper Presale Hits a New High Above $21 Million

Since Bitcoin is still the world’s most iconic cryptocurrency – the OG coin that started it all, and continues to rip to new all-time high prices in 2025 – it stands to reason that savvy investors are planning to buy more Bitcoin-adjacent tokens. This is currently being proven by the Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) presale, which has now raised over $21.6 million to help fund the launch and development of its unique Bitcoin Layer 2 (L2) chain.

Bitcoin Hyper uses the Solana Virtual Machine to create a fast and flexible L2 architecture on top of Bitcoin, enabling users to engage with NFT projects, meme coin launchpads, games, DeFi services, and more – all using BTC. The Layer 2’s canonical bridge system allows direct conversion from BTC (on the main Bitcoin Layer 1 blockchain) to Wrapped BTC (WBTC) on Bitcoin Hyper – with the option to convert back to the original Bitcoin at any time. The HYPER token itself will be needed to make transaction fee payments, get access to some extra project features, and vote during governance processes, meaning that demand will naturally rise as the L2’s adoption level grows.

Cilinix Crypto – a respected presale expert with 103,000 followers on social media – has taken notice of Bitcoin Hyper’s growth, and claimed that HYPER might “explode” when it becomes available to trade on exchanges.

In addition to L2 fee payments, project governance, and VIP feature access, HYPER can also be staked for dynamic APYs of up to 55%. The staking process is built into the Bitcoin Hyper website’s investment widget, so you can get started from the moment you make your purchase. HYPER’s price is still just $0.013065, but that value will quickly increase throughout the remainder of the sale – with the next raise scheduled for tomorrow.
