Bitcoin Price Prediction: CZ Tips BTC to Surpass Gold as Bitcoin Hyper Raises $24.4M

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (better known as CZ) made a bold statement on X this Monday, stating that Bitcoin (BTC) “will flip gold.” CZ’s prediction, that the world’s largest cryptocurrency will eventually overtake physical gold in market capitalization, was met with both celebration and skepticism.

By the end of yesterday, BTC was up 1.68% – and although gold and its related ETFs are rapidly gaining ground in the TradFi sector, Bitcoin has pulled back slightly today. Nonetheless, Web3 stalwarts remain bullish – and it’s worth remembering that Bitcoin temporarily flipped silver in 2024, creating a precedent that supports CZ’s position.
