Bitcoin Price Prediction: BTC Set for New All-Time High After Price Recovery?
It’s been a wild few days for crypto traders. Friday’s flash crash wiped hundreds of billions of dollars from the market’s value in minutes, and rattled everything from Bitcoin (BTC) to low-cap meme coins.
Then the tone flipped. Bitcoin bounced hard on Sunday and into today, up about 3% in the past 24 hours and now sitting only 10% below its recent all-time high. With bullish momentum back, Bitcoin price prediction chatter is everywhere.
Now to the big question: after surviving one of the year’s sharpest sell-offs, can Bitcoin post a new all-time high before the month is out? And if it does, which coins might follow suit?
That’s why attention is also shifting to smaller projects within the Bitcoin ecosystem. Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) – a fast, low-cost Bitcoin Layer-2 that’s raised over $23 million in presale – is one of those projects. Some experts even think it could outpace BTC on a percentage basis by year-end.
Friday’s Flash Crash and Why Bitcoin Has Rebounded
Friday’s drop came from a bearish mix: thin liquidity after weeks of ETF inflows, stretched leverage, and a surprise US–China tariff headline that Donald Trump announced on Truth Social. Margin calls hit as a result, triggering a wave of forced selling on CEXs.
Derivatives drove the next leg lower. With depth scarce, each liquidation pushed crypto prices down further, setting off more stop losses. Some CEXs even saw partial outages, which added to the panic.

But yesterday and today, conditions have improved. Friday’s leverage flush has cleared out crowded longs, and liquidity has refilled. Plus, those tariff fears have been eased by another Trump social media post, helping restore trader confidence.
With spot ETF demand still present and key support respected, Bitcoin has led the rebound – and pulled the altcoin space up with it. It goes to show that shock sell-offs in crypto don’t always end uptrends.
Bitcoin Price Prediction – Is BTC Setting Up for Another All-Time High?
Bitcoin’s structure has held where it mattered. The coin’s price never closed below $108,000 support on the daily timeframe and quickly reclaimed it, keeping the bulls in control.
BTC is trading near $114,850 today, which means it’s back to the levels seen on October 1. Essentially, there’s been no lasting damage – and BTC is still just 10% off the highs from October 6.
But can price keep pushing higher? Seasonality factors will help. October tends to be extremely bullish, Q4 as a whole is usually green, and spot BTC ETF flows remain largely positive. Also, leverage has reset, which reduces the risk of another one-way cascade.
We’ll likely see a few days of consolidation while liquidity builds, then a steady push higher into late October. From there, a retest of the previous ATH looks likely – with a clean break possible before November begins if tariff headlines stay calm.
Bitcoin Hyper Could Have Better Upside Than BTC as Presale Hits $23.3M
While Bitcoin gears up for a potential ATH run, Bitcoin Hyper is catching flows from investors who want upside tied to a faster, more programmable Bitcoin blockchain. The project has raised $23.3 million in its presale so far, with HYPER tokens priced at just $0.013105.
Bitcoin Hyper uses the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) to target high throughput (up to 65,000 TPS) and near-zero network fees, while anchoring security to Bitcoin’s blockchain. That setup aims to make Bitcoin usable for things like DeFi, meme coins, crypto gaming, and tokenized RWAs.
Momentum around this idea is building. Whales are buying aggressively, social media buzz (especially on Telegram) is heavy, and analysts are comparing Bitcoin Hyper’s role for Bitcoin to what top Layer-2s did for Ethereum.
If the team achieves their goals for speed, bridging, and ecosystem liquidity, Bitcoin Hyper could become key infrastructure for “Bitcoin with dApps.” YouTuber Borch Crypto seems to think so. In a video that’s been viewed over 19,000 times, he called this the “best presale to buy now.”
For traders looking for higher upside, Bitcoin Hyper’s appeal is clear. Bitcoin may grind to new highs, but HYPER – as a low-cap altcoin with genuine utility – has the potential for an explosive run.
