Major Cryptocurrencies on the Rise
At the time of writing, the leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC), is trading around $71,500. This represents a growth of approximately 3% in the last hour and over 7% over the past 24 hours, while weekly gains have reached roughly 10%.

Ethereum (ETH) also rose to approximately $2,062, posting a daily increase of about 5.1% and rising over 8% for the week.

Market Sentiment Remains Cautious
Despite the price increases, market indicators suggest that investors remain wary. The Crypto Fear and Greed Index currently sits at a level of 19, classified as “extreme fear.” This indicates that many market participants are still concerned about geopolitical uncertainty and instability in global financial markets.
The Altcoin Season Index remains around 32 out of 100, suggesting that the market continues to be dominated by Bitcoin rather than smaller cryptocurrencies.
Crypto as an Alternative Asset
The recovery of the crypto market comes at a time when traditional markets are under pressure from geopolitical risks, rising oil prices, and currency fluctuations. These factors are driving some investors toward digital assets like Bitcoin, which is often viewed as an alternative asset during periods of market uncertainty.
However, analysts warn that cryptocurrencies remain highly volatile and can react swiftly to both positive and negative macroeconomic news.
