Binance bStocks reached $500M in AUM within seven weeks, with 44% of trading volume coming from Gen Z investors entering traditional markets via crypto.

Data shared by the exchange reveals that the platform primarily attracts crypto investors gaining their first exposure to equities through blockchain infrastructure.

Rapid Expansion Fuels Interest in Tokenized Stocks

Since its launch on June 11, 2026, Binance has aggressively expanded its bStocks offering from an initial five assets to over 46 tokenized stocks and spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The platform provides eligible users with 24/7 trading access and the ability to perform instant, fee-free conversions between tokenized assets and their underlying shares.

Recent additions to the roster include tech and financial giants such as Apple, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, PayPal, and Dell Technologies, alongside the VanEck Semiconductor ETF. This expansion has significantly broadened user exposure to the technology, financial services, and semiconductor sectors.

The company noted that the rapid growth in assets under management (AUM) demonstrates how investors are increasingly turning to tokenization as a viable alternative for accessing traditional financial markets.

Crypto Investors Pivot to Traditional Markets

Binance’s internal data shows that 41.5% of bStocks users made their first-ever investment in traditional financial assets specifically through the platform’s tokenized securities.

Generation Z has emerged as the most active demographic, accounting for 44% of the total trading volume on bStocks. According to Binance, this suggests that younger investors favor integrated digital platforms over traditional brokerage services.

A significant portion of this activity occurs outside standard U.S. stock exchange hours. Once Wall Street closes, 58% of the trading volume for equity-linked instruments on Binance shifts to bStocks, highlighting a strong demand for continuous market access. Over the most recent weekend alone, tokenized stocks generated $2 billion in trading volume.

Binance Focuses on an Integrated Investment Ecosystem

bStocks is fully integrated with Binance’s broader suite of investment products, including the spot market, direct stock trading, and perpetual futures contracts.

Exchange data indicates that 58.5% of bStocks holders utilize at least one other product within the ecosystem, enabling them to build diverse investment strategies on a single platform.

Shunyet Jan, Head of Exchange & Trading at Binance, stated that tokenized stocks are attracting a new generation of investors who demand constant market availability and tighter integration between traditional and digital assets.

Reaching $500 million in AUM just weeks after launch positions bStocks as one of Binance’s fastest-growing initiatives, signaling the accelerating adoption of tokenization within traditional capital markets.
