Best Crypto To Buy Now: CME Gap Filled, Bitcoin, Zcash Ready For The Next Rally
Crypto prices extended their decline on Thursday, with Bitcoin momentarily tumbling below $90,000.
The altcoins fared worse, with Pepe, Bonk and Redner among the worst performers over the past 24 hours. Zcash (ZEC) posted the worst gains of any top 100 crypto after news broke that the entire core developer team had resigned after a dispute with the Bootstrap board.
However, technical analysis suggests that the bottom is now likely in and the short-term pullback is over.
For instance, the Bitcoin price has filled a CME gap between the $90,500 and $91,600 levels. A CME gap is formed when the price moves sharply over the weekend while CME futures markets are closed. This gap often acts as a magnet for future price action.
There is another CME gap near the $88,200 level, which could mark the bottom if the short-term pullback continues. However, BTC’s reaction to filling the gap suggests that the new rally has already started, as it has already bounced from $89,200 to $91,200 at press time.
Despite today’s sharp pullback, Zcash continues to be one of the best crypto to buy now in the long term. Large-cap assets like Ethereum, XRP and Solana, mid-caps like World Liberty Financial and low-caps like HYPER are also in high demand.
Best Crypto To Buy Now: Solana, XRP, Zcash and New Upcoming Launches
Bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin continues to be backed by experts as one of the best cryptocurrencies to buy, even in such late stages of the crypto cycle.
Throughout this bull market, the majors have displayed stunning bull strength. Those who made the mistake of ignoring Bitcoin and large-cap altcoins have largely underperformed in this cycle.
As a result, Bitcoin continues to be an attractive investment, even if some altcoins can outperform it over the coming weeks. In fact, experts believe that the BTC price could potentially hit $150,000 in 2026, which would mean attractive 60% returns for investors buying at the current price.
There is a strong likelihood that BTC is now in, especially considering its reaction upon retesting its 50-day Exponential Moving Average. Sidelined investors shouldn’t wait on the sidelines looking for an extended dip to buy.
The aggregated orderbook liquidity delta chart shows that buyers are stepping in with the same conviction that they showed before the start of this year’s bull run. This makes a strong case for sidelined investors to buy now.
Solana (SOL)
Solana (SOL) is on the cusp of a strong bounce back, making it one of the best large-cap coins to buy today.
Real Vision’s James Easton highlights that SOL is moving within an ascending parallel channel in the higher timeframes. The lower trendline of this channel has acted as a key support level for Solana back in 2022 and twice in 2023.
Once again, the token price is showing significant bullish strength upon retesting this level. Easton highlights that if Solana follows through, it could potentially hit $1,200 this year.
The spot SOL ETFs have also recorded $807 million in total inflows, suggesting strong institutional demand, which is always an excellent indicator of attractive long-term prospects.
XRP (XRP)
XRP’s institutional demand is even more impressive than Solana, with its spot ETFs having already recorded over $1.20 billion in total inflows.
Indeed, XRP’s parent company Ripple has emerged as one of the biggest institutional players in the crypto industry. In fact, it recently raised $500 million at $40 billion valuation.
Its RLUSD stablecoin targets compliant treasury, settlement, and liquidity use cases, while RippleNet underpins cross-border payments for banks and financial institutions.
Ripple acquired the institutional global credit network Hidden Road for about $1.25 billion, aiming to deepen access to institutional trading flows.
Meanwhile, XRP’s relative strength continues to impress as well. Despite the recent short-term pullback, it continues to hold above the $2 support level. Meanwhile, the Tom DeMark indicator has also flashed a “buy” signal.

Indeed, XRP is positioned as a must-have crypto asset for every serious investor.
Zcash (ZEC)
Zcash (ZEC) saw extreme volatility on Thursday after news broke that the entire core development team at Electric Coin Company (ECC) resigned, triggering a sharp sell-off that pushed the price from around $480 to near $280, a decline of roughly 20%.
The move initially rattled market confidence, raising concerns around governance and long-term development.
However, sentiment has begun to stabilize. Josh Swihart, Zcash’s creator, clarified that the departing team remains fully committed to the ecosystem and is transitioning into a for-profit entity called CashZ, with plans to launch a dedicated Zcash wallet.
Adding to the bullish narrative, Helius Labs co-founder Mert noted that the shift from a nonprofit to a for-profit structure could unlock faster execution, even stating that ZEC could reach $10,000 in the long run.
there you go, official news (first of multiple)

Price action reflects improving confidence, with ZEC already bouncing over 55% from its lows to around $434. More conservative traders may look for a clean break above the $460 resistance before positioning for continuation.
Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER)
Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER), a BTC-focused scaling project, is going viral during its ongoing presale.
Behind staggering demand from whales and crypto influencers, it has already raised over $30.2 million in its ICO.
The project is built to expand what the Bitcoin network can actually do. While Bitcoin remains the most secure blockchain, its base layer is slow and expensive, limiting real-world use beyond simple transfers.
Bitcoin Hyper addresses this by operating as a Layer-2 network that processes transactions off-chain while settling securely back on the mainnet.
The project combines zero-knowledge technology with an SVM-based execution layer, allowing for faster throughput, lower fees, and smart-contract functionality without compromising Bitcoin’s security model.
This architecture opens the door to applications like payments, DeFi, and tokenized assets on Bitcoin, areas where the network has historically lagged.
Bitcoin Hyper is also designed to be multi-chain, improving accessibility and liquidity while positioning itself for broader adoption, which is already evident in the presale.
HYPER ticks all the boxes for being the next successful low-cap crypto, with many calling it a potential 100x play.
