Crypto prices are bouncing to start the week, despite renewed tensions between US President Donald Trump and Fed Chair Jerome Powell. 

The Bitcoin price has reclaimed the $92,300 level at press time, up by 1.3% on Monday. Meanwhile, Ethereum has hit $3,150, up by over 1% on the day. 

Privacy coins, AI tokens and meme coins are once again dominating the list of the top performers, reinforcing the narrative that these are the best crypto to buy now for the 2026 crypto bull run. 

Solana, Monero, Zcash, Render and Artificial Superintelligence Alliance are particularly gaining significant traction. 

The fact that the crypto market is largely ignoring the escalating feud between President Trump and Fed Chair Jerome Powell is being viewed as a bullish signal. Political pressure on the Federal Reserve, including claims from Powell that he is being targeted over interest-rate policy, would have rattled markets just months ago.

Until very recently, prices reacted sharply to similar headlines. Top analysts are now interpreting this resilience as a positive sign of growing market maturity and underlying strength.

Solana’s price chart against Bitcoin clearly highlights its relative strength. The SOLBTC trading pair has bounced at a key multi-year support level, while its Moving Average Convergence Divergence has flipped bullish. 

There is also a marked increase in its volume, which Real Vision’s James Easton interprets as the start of a new rally. 

Prominent analyst Altcoin Sherpa reveals that he has opened a long position in SOL. 

He claims that its chart is looking “fantastic”, highlighting that the 4-hour EMAs across multiple timeframes are looking even better than they were in September 2025. 

Sidelined investors can wait for a breach of the $145 resistance level, which could be an excellent opportunity to open a long position. Analysts have indicated $180 as a short-term target and $400 in the long term. 

Monero (XMR)

The demand for privacy coins is so high that the typically slow-moving Monero is up by 15% over the past 24 hours. 

XMR has hit a new all-time high of $596 on Monday before a marginal pullback to $563 at press time. 

More importantly, XMR has broken out of a long-term cup-and-handle pattern on the macro timeframe, decisively clearing the $517 resistance last week.

Incredibly, this is exactly the same structure that Silver broke out of last year, which has resulted in a 70% rally since. 

It is, therefore, no surprise that several top analysts are calling Monero the best crypto to buy now for the long term. 

Prominent analyst Matthew Hyland claims that the XMR price could hit anywhere between $10,000 and $125,000 in the next 5 to 20 years. 

Monero is making a strong case for being a better privacy coin investment than even Zcash. 

Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET)
