Binance co-founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao is maintaining his highly bullish stance on crypto, irrespective of the recent bearishness and consolidatory price action. 

Taking to the social media platform X, CZ announced that a crypto “super cycle” is coming. The term refers to a widely held belief among the bulls that the real bull market hasn’t even started due to the Fed’s restrictive monetary policy and will start in 2026, sending crypto prices significantly higher than previously expected. 

This is the antithesis of analysts who believe that the crypto market is still following a 4-year cycle. 

CZ was responding to reports that the US Securities and Exchange Commission had removed crypto from its top-priority risk list for 2026. 

The Binance co-founder continues to highlight that the market’s fundamentals are rapidly improving. In another X post, he highlighted that while retail investors are panic-selling their holdings, banks and institutions continue to accumulate.

This was in response to another report that showed that the multinational financial services company Wells Fargo recently purchased $383 million worth of Bitcoin.

Recently, he pointed out that investors often regret not buying Bitcoin earlier, but overlook the fact that early buyers stepped in during periods of fear and uncertainty, not at all-time highs.

This vague advice was posted last Christmas, against the backdrop of a bearish 4th quarter, and was a clear signal for investors to accumulate BTC irrespective of the price action. 

CZ is even more bullish on Bitcoin in the long term, announcing that it will eventually flip Gold in total market capitalization. He has repeatedly backed that BTC is a better financial instrument than the precious metal. 

At their current valuations, this would mean a 17x growth in Bitcoin if Gold remains unchanged. 

BNB (BNB)

BNB is the native token of Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, and also the core asset of the BNB Chain Layer-1 blockchain.
