Best Crypto to Buy: Bitcoin Hyper Presale Explodes as Bitcoin ZK Narrative Gains Mindshare
Crypto is quietly entering a new era where ZK-rollup technology is beginning to dominate, helping fuel scalability without sacrificing decentralization. Key industry players, such as Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, couldn’t be more pleased.
But this emerging trend isn’t confined to Ethereum; it’s also happening on Bitcoin. A Bitcoin-facing Layer 2 called Starknet exploded by more than 80% this week, rising to a $1.1 billion market cap. And now, investors are looking for the next 8-figure ZK-rollup play, and many are betting on Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER).
Currently in presale, Bitcoin Hyper is rapidly approaching the $30 million raised milestone, matching Starknet’s Series A funding round in 2018. However, the major difference is that while Starknet was offered exclusively to venture capitalists, Bitcoin Hyper’s presale is publicly accessible, more closely aligning with Bitcoin’s grassroots ethos.
Similar to Starknet, Bitcoin Hyper is building a ZK-rollup-powered Bitcoin Layer 2 blockchain – but it stands out by running on the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), which gives it a massive speed advantage. And so the question becomes: is HYPER the best crypto to buy now?
The Rise of ZK-Rollups: Crypto’s Next Big Narrative Explained
The blockchain trilemma has remained unsolved since Bitcoin’s launch in 2009. Blockchain developers must choose which pillar to sacrifice – scalability, decentralization, or security – in order to strengthen the other two.
Both Bitcoin and Ethereum sacrifice scalability for decentralization and security. That’s why Bitcoin can process just 7 transactions per second (TPS), and Ethereum can process 15 TPS.
Solana and other modern blockchains sacrifice decentralization by increasing the computational requirements for validators to achieve larger block sizes and faster speeds. As such, Solana can theoretically process 65,000 TPS.
Many experts believe the solution to this issue is ZK-rollup Layer 2 blockchains. These rollups execute transactions off-chain, then bundle them into cryptographic proofs that get verified on the base layer. This allows them to inherit Layer 1 security while achieving greater scalability – and without meaningfully compromising decentralization.
In May 2024, Vitalik Buterin famously said that “in 10 years, all rollups will be ZK” – but the pivot might be happening faster than he anticipated.
Enter Starknet – an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) Layer 2 blockchain calling itself the “Bitcoin DeFi Layer.” It supports smart contracts and will settle transactions on Bitcoin, opening BTC to DeFi and yield opportunities.
Starknet’s STRK token has exploded in value by over 80% this week, and now trades above a $1.1 billion market capitalization, underlining the immense opportunity for projects that combine ZK proofs and Bitcoin scaling.
But while Starknet is built on the EVM, Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) leverages the Solana Virtual Machine. The benefit is clear: the SVM is magnitudes faster than the EVM. Starknet’s max TPS is 992, while Bitcoin Hyper is expected to handle tens of thousands of transactions per second.
Transforming Bitcoin Into an Interoperable Financial Hub
The Ethereum L2 ecosystem isn’t a single-horse race, and Bitcoin’s won’t be either. However, the fact that Bitcoin Hyper scales much faster than Starknet – as well as legacy Bitcoin L2s like Stacks and Rootstock – provides a competitive edge.
As use cases such as perpetual futures trading, stablecoins, and asset tokenization become increasingly popular, the demand for block space is intensifying. Therefore, the most scalable L2s are likely to attract the biggest players and the most liquidity.
That’s why Western Union chose Solana as the exclusive venue to launch its upcoming stablecoin, USDPT, which will go live in 2026. It’s also why CashApp, Visa, and other fintech players are choosing to build on Solana.
And here’s where Bitcoin Hyper’s edge emerges: its SVM foundation makes it natively interoperable with Solana. In time, the same institutions choosing Solana today could seamlessly expand to Bitcoin Hyper tomorrow.
It remains to be seen whether this actually happens, but the infrastructure is there – and that opens doors that other Bitcoin L2s simply don’t have access to.
That’s why the HYPER presale momentum continues to build, and why analysts are forecasting huge long-term gains. For instance, the crypto expert Umar Khan has speculated that a $500 presale purchase could grow to $25,000, yielding a 50x ROI.
Why Hyper Could Be the Best Crypto to Buy Now
Starknet is quickly establishing itself among the market’s top performers alongside the likes of Zcash, which surged from $40 in September to around $700 this week. It’s also worth noting that Zcash is built on ZK proofs, underscoring just how well this sector is performing right now.
But what Bitcoin Hyper offers is unique: a chance for retail investors to get involved right from the beginning – and in a truly untapped market segment. With almost $30 million raised, HYPER evidently has support from smart money traders, but it’s still early days, and so the upside potential remains massive compared to its peers.
