Benjamin Bencb Rolle

CoinPoker ambassador and Raise Your Edge founder Benjamin ‘bencb789’ Rolle has taken down one of the toughest online poker tournaments in the world, the WSOP Online Main Event.

The German poker pro and coach shipped the $5,000 buy-in event around midnight his time on Tuesday, September 23 for $3,900,707 plus his first WSOP bracelet.

Regarded as one of the best MTT players in the world, Bencb has over $35 million in lifetime online tournament earnings but described this as the biggest final table of his life on his X.

With a $28.3 million prizepool, beating the $25M guarantee, this ranks among the largest online poker tournament of all time, narrowly beaten by the same tournament held in previous years – the 2023 WSOP Online main event had a $28.6M prizepool, and the 2024 edition had a $28.5M prizepool.

The 2023 main event was won by another CoinPoker ambassador, Bert “girafganger7” Stevens. Benjamin Rolle also final tabled the 2024 main event, finishing eighth for $651,921.

Crypto Poker Pioneer

Bencb regularly live streams across every major poker site including PokerStars, GGPoker, PartyPoker and more recently a smaller, crypto poker site CoinPoker where he became an ambassador in November 2024, joining other elite tournament pros Mario Mosböck and Patrick ‘Pads’ Leonard.

Bencb won a Bitcoin themed ‘CoinMasters’ event on the site for 17,000 USDT and hosts his own freerolls for new players on the decentralized platform.

Speaking on his decision to represent the emerging blockchain poker site, Rolle remarked ‘We need competition (for online poker rooms). I’ve experienced one site dominating and doing whatever it wants… CoinPoker’s serious ambition has helped make them one of the industry’s leaders.’

Benjamin Rolle v Anatoly Zlotnikov – Final Hand

In the final hand of the WSOP Online main event, Ben’s heads up opponent Anatoly Zlotnikov from Russia limp shoved A9o for 13bb and Benjamin Rolle made the call with KQs.

Anatoly took down $3,006,763 for second place, and Austrian pro Felix Rabas took down $2,318,640 in third.

The event was hosted on GGPoker, had 5961 entrants and ran for a total of 21 hours, split across two days with 18 Day 1 flights.

During the WSOP Online 2025 tournament series the site set a new record of 600,000 players online at one time, showcasing the rising popularity of online poker. Like CoinPoker, GG also accepts embraces crypto as a ‘secure and more private’ deposit method, describing cryptocurrency on its blog as a ‘digital revolution’.

The final table was commentated on by poker legend Phil Hellmuth, who has been following crypto since Bitcoin was $90. He was joined in the booth by Jeff Gross who hosts a crypto and poker podcast, and was a former ambassador for NFT platform 2Crazy.
