96% of Solana DEX Addresses Last Less Than a Day
New data highlighted by Wu Blockchain reveals striking patterns in the activity of Solana DEX traders.
The network has accumulated more than 750 million transaction addresses, but the vast majority show extremely short lifespans. According to the analysis, 96.6% of addresses are active for less than 24 hours, with an average lifecycle of just 15 minutes. Many of these are believed to be tied to memecoin trading, inflating daily transaction counts.
Despite this, Solana still shows strong trader stickiness across medium-term lifecycles. The number of addresses used for one week to one month, one month to one quarter, and one quarter to one year is relatively balanced, with the quarter-to-year range even surpassing some shorter timeframes.

This suggests a committed segment of traders remains engaged beyond the rapid churn of speculative wallets.
Most notably, there are still over 1.8 million addresses with lifecycles exceeding one year, averaging 655 days of activity. These long-term addresses highlight a consistent base of participants supporting the ecosystem despite the high turnover rate.
The findings underline Solana’s dual character: a chain driving massive short-term speculative activity while also sustaining a durable core of committed users.
