Chiliz (CHZ) CEO, Alexandre Dreyfus, revealed plans for a new airdrop within the platform's ecosystem.
Following the previous success of its PEPPER token airdrop, Chiliz is now preparing to distribute a new token called SALT to its users in 2025, according to Dreyfus’ announcement on X.
In the past, Chiliz gained attention when Binance helped distribute PEPPER tokens to CHZ holders, although PEPPER remained relatively small with a market cap of just $12 million.
Despite these efforts, CHZ’s performance has been underwhelming. Even with Bitcoin’s surge to an all-time high of $89,000, CHZ has only seen a modest 1.42% price increase in the past month and a 17% drop over the last year.
Currently valued at $636 million, CHZ is traded on major exchanges like Binance and Coinbase, but its performance during the bull market has raised concerns among investors.
