Trump’s Company Dives into the Metaverse and NFTs

The Trump Organization is preparing to make its mark in the digital space, with new filings indicating plans for a branded virtual world and NFT marketplace.

On February 24, 2025, DTTM Operations LLC, the entity responsible for managing the Trump Organization’s trademarks, submitted an application to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to secure rights to the “TRUMP” name for a variety of digital and virtual products.

The filing suggests an expansion into the metaverse, with the Trump Organization planning a virtual ecosystem called “Megaverse.” In this digital environment, users may be able to engage in immersive experiences, purchase TRUMP-branded virtual clothing such as shoes and hats, and even visit a virtual restaurant offering a simulated dining experience.

The initiative extends beyond fashion and entertainment, with the application detailing plans for TRUMP-branded educational services. These would cover topics such as business, real estate, hospitality management, and civic engagement, aiming to offer professional development opportunities in a digital format.

One of the most notable aspects of the filing is the mention of a digital marketplace designed to facilitate the exchange of virtual goods and cryptocurrencies. Transactions would be limited to items authorized by the 45th and 47th U.S. presidents, verified through NFTs. While details remain scarce, this move signals a broader push into blockchain-backed assets and digital commerce under the Trump brand.
