Google Cloud has introduced a new Blockchain Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service designed to simplify blockchain data interactions for cryptocurrency developers and enhance the performance of decentralized applications (DApps).
This service promises swift response times and is initially available for the Ethereum (ETH) mainnet and testnet, with plans to support additional blockchains over the next year.
According to Google Cloud, the Blockchain RPC service adheres to Ethereum’s JSON-RPC standard, allowing developers to integrate it with minimal code changes.
The service starts with a free tier, providing 100 call requests per second and up to one million requests per day, suitable for building real-time, data-intensive apps.
Google Cloud also highlighted its existing blockchain infrastructure services, which include node hosting and data analytics for Ethereum, Solana (SOL), and Aptos (APT).
