Ben Armstrong, known as BitBoy Crypto, predicts that XRP could overtake Ethereum in market cap by 2025.
He recalls that XRP briefly surpassed ETH in 2018, with XRP hitting a $130 billion market cap compared to Ethereum’s $111 billion. Armstrong believes a similar scenario could unfold during the next bull run in 2025.
He expects Ethereum to struggle with surpassing a $1 trillion market cap, while XRP could rise 20x to a $600 billion market cap, potentially pushing its price to $11.
A 25x-30x increase could bring XRP to $13-$15.6. Armstrong also notes that XRP’s growth has been slowed by the Ripple lawsuit, though a partial legal victory in 2024 helped XRP outperform ETH temporarily.
Despite short-term challenges, he remains optimistic about XRP’s future.
