Blockchain development giant Alchemy is expanding its footprint in the Solana ecosystem through the acquisition of DexterLab, a high-performance infrastructure provider trusted by firms like Google, Chainstack, and the Solana Foundation.
The deal, which was the result of a six-month collaboration, aims to deliver enterprise-grade tools for developers building on Solana.
While financial terms remain undisclosed, the acquisition underscores Alchemy’s strategic shift toward supporting non-EVM chains. Known for its dominant role in Ethereum infrastructure, Alchemy will now bolster its Solana offering by integrating DexterLab’s real-time analytics and web3 data feeds. DexterLab’s network spans global data centers to ensure rapid and scalable access to Solana’s notoriously high-volume environment, which generates nearly one terabyte of blockchain data daily.
DexterLab specializes in advanced monitoring solutions for Solana’s mainnet and the broader Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) ecosystem, providing API endpoints and infrastructure designed to overcome the limitations of traditional RPC services.
This move comes as Solana gains momentum through consumer-facing applications like Pump.fun, spotlighting its high-throughput architecture and growing developer interest. For Alchemy, the acquisition signals a long-term commitment to enabling robust infrastructure across multiple chains, beyond its EVM origins.
With DexterLab now under its umbrella, Alchemy is positioned to accelerate innovation and deliver high-performance tooling tailored to Solana’s unique demands—laying the groundwork for more scalable, data-intensive decentralized apps.
