Client ETH assets held by Coinbase as a custodian should not be confused with the company\u2019s own proprietary position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Coinbase Argument Extends Beyond ETH Totals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pollak\u2019s defense also rests on Coinbase\u2019s role in Ethereum\u2019s infrastructure.
