With Ether trading near $3,091, BitMine\u2019s total holdings are estimated at approximately 2.74 million ETH, giving the company exposure valued at around $8.5 billion. That scale places BitMine among the most influential institutional participants in the Ethereum staking landscape.<\/p>\n<p>This move is not an isolated event. Only days earlier, the company staked more than 82,000 ETH, following its initial foray into staking late last year. Those first deposits marked a shift from passive holding to actively generating yield. Since then, BitMine has steadily expanded its staked position through deliberate, treasury-style accumulation rather than short-term trading.<\/p>\n<h2>Validator congestion grows as BitMine builds infrastructure<\/h2>\n<p>BitMine\u2019s staking push coincides with rising congestion in Ethereum\u2019s validator pipeline. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptodnes.bg\/en\/ethereum-staking-queue-signals-long-term-capital-commitment\/\">More than 1.8 million ETH<\/a><\/strong> are currently waiting to enter active validation, translating into activation delays of over a month. Exit queues, by contrast, remain relatively quiet, suggesting that most stakers are committed for the long term. In total, about 35.5 million ETH-roughly 29 percent of the circulating supply\u2014are now staked, earning an average annual yield near 2.5 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than relying exclusively on external providers, BitMine is preparing its own staking backbone. The company has outlined plans for an internal system, the Made-in-America Validator Network, with broader deployment targeted for early 2026. Pilot programs with institutional partners are already underway to test performance, security, and operational resilience before scaling.<\/p>\n<p>From a balance-sheet perspective, Ethereum dominates BitMine\u2019s digital asset portfolio, alongside a smaller Bitcoin position and a strategic investment in Eightco. Altogether, the firm\u2019s crypto and cash holdings are valued at close to $13.2 billion, including more than $1 billion in cash. Ethereum alone accounts for a meaningful share of the network\u2019s circulating supply, underscoring BitMine\u2019s growing influence.<\/p>\n<p>Lee has framed the company\u2019s strategy as a long-term conviction rather than a tactical trade. He has argued that recent market weakness is largely seasonal, driven by tax-related selling rather than deteriorating fundamentals.
