He says they\u2019re effectively using BTC as a macro hedge, which reflects increased confidence and a long-term vision within elite financial circles.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding who is adopting BTC, Fink says Abu Dhabi\u2019s Mubadala Investment Company and Luxembourg\u2019s sovereign wealth fund are among those that have recently bought. However, he notes that this is already well known among market participants.<\/p>\n<p>As more wealth funds take long-term Bitcoin positions, it could fundamentally alter the asset\u2019s supply and demand dynamics, with an ever-larger share of the supply removed from order books.<\/p>\n<p>This strengthens Bitcoin\u2019s long-term outlook and could also help establish a strong floor price, potentially enabling not only Bitcoin but also the altcoin market to rise. In some senses, Ethereum fulfils a similar role to Bitcoin Hyper in that it\u2019s programmable and used for more than just storing value.<\/p>\n<p>The difference, of course, is that Ethereum operates as a completely separate entity, relying on an internal consensus mechanism and its own set of rules. And that\u2019s not to mention the difference in maturity: Ethereum is the second-largest crypto, while Bitcoin Hyper is still getting started.<\/p>\n<p>Sovereign wealth funds can already buy Ethereum through ETFs, and BlackRock recently filed for a staked Ethereum ETF, meaning holders get exposure to yield as well as price. This could be inherently more attractive than Bitcoin\u2019s ETFs, which offer only price exposure.
