Ether ETFs fared no better. Investors pulled out roughly $182.8 million on Monday, driven in large part by the $193 million removed from BlackRock\u2019s ETHA. Fidelity also posted outflows, while small inflows into Grayscale\u2019s ETH products provided only minor relief.

The prolonged U.S. government shutdown and disappearing hopes for a December rate cut have intensified the downturn across crypto. Late Monday, Bitcoin slid<\/a><\/strong> to just below $90,000, its lowest level since April, before recovering to around $91,253. Ethereum followed the same trajectory<\/a><\/strong>, trading near $3,056 after a 4% daily drop.<\/p>\n

Ruck warned that if ETF outflows continue, both assets could face \u201cadditional price compression,\u201d potentially dragging the broader altcoin market into deeper corrective territory.<\/p>\n

Altcoin ETFs Defy the Trend<\/h3>\n

In contrast, newly launched altcoin ETFs saw inflows as traders rotated capital toward assets with clearer regulatory momentum.<\/p>\n

  • Canary\u2019s spot XRP ETF drew $25.4 million in a single day, on top of a massive $243 million haul last Friday.<\/li>\n
  • Its Litecoin ETF picked up roughly $2 million.<\/li>\n
  • Spot Solana ETFs also attracted more than $8.2 million, with Bitwise\u2019s BSOL and Grayscale\u2019s GSOL capturing most of the demand.<\/li>\n
  • Two new Solana funds \u2013 Canary\u2019s SOLC and Fidelity\u2019s FSOL \u2013 are scheduled to go live Tuesday, a development analysts believe could further accelerate the shift toward altcoin exposure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
