This means customers\u2019 deposits are protected just like those in traditional bank accounts.<\/p>\n<h3>A Step Toward a Hybrid Financial Platform<\/h3>\n<p>Keith Grose, CEO of Coinbase UK, said the initiative aims to make Coinbase \u201cthe number one financial app in the UK,\u201d blending crypto and fiat services under one roof. The company sees the product as part of a broader effort to merge the flexibility of digital assets with the familiarity of traditional banking.<\/p>\n<p>Mitesh Savjani, Coinbase\u2019s UK Product and Growth Lead, added that the savings account complements features like the Coinbase Card, allowing users to spend from both crypto and fiat balances, and more than 260 supported digital assets.
