It\u2019s been a tough week for crypto investors. Friday\u2019s crash shook the market, Sunday and Monday brought some relief, and then \u2013 another setback. Prices slipped again yesterday, adding to the whiplash.<\/p>\n

Things are settling a bit today, but price action still feels jumpy. Bitcoin (BTC) is trying to find its footing around $112,650, and major altcoins like BNB and XRP are trading flat.<\/p>\n

That said, not everyone\u2019s spooked. Long-time trader Peter Brandt just revealed his latest forecast \u2013 and he\u2019s still extremely bullish. He outlines a scenario where Bitcoin dips once more before posting a new all-time high.<\/p>\n

If that forecast plays out, this could actually be one of those moments that turns out to be a gift in hindsight \u2013 not just for Bitcoin, but also for Bitcoin-linked altcoins. One of them is Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER)<\/a>, a new Layer-2 network in presale that has raised over $23.7 million.<\/p>\n

Peter Brandt Thinks Bitcoin Has One More Drop in It \u2013 Then a Breakout<\/h2>\n

Peter Brandt<\/a> isn\u2019t some random voice on Crypto Twitter. He\u2019s been trading the financial markets since the 1970s, built his own trading firm, and earned a place in Jack Schwager\u2019s \u201cMarket Wizards\u201d series. And when it comes to Bitcoin, his track record is hard to ignore.<\/p>\n

In a new interview<\/a> with Cointelegraph, Brandt laid out two paths for Bitcoin: either a short-term \u201cshakeout\u201d followed by a surge to new highs, or a deeper pullback that takes price down to the $50,000\u2013$60,000 range before a longer-term recovery.<\/p>\n

He thinks the steep 80% drawdowns of the past are unlikely now, but he\u2019s still eyeing a potential break of Bitcoin\u2019s current parabolic trend. That would eliminate overleveraged traders.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, he\u2019s not sounding the alarm \u2013 far from it. If anything, Brandt suggests that we could be heading into one of those classic \u201creset\u201d moments before the next bull run. Given how often he\u2019s predicted Bitcoin\u2019s path, that\u2019s a forecast worth paying attention to.<\/p>\n

Could This Be the Prime Spot to Buy the Bitcoin Dip?<\/h2>\n

If Brandt is right and we\u2019re in the calm before another rally, then Bitcoin\u2019s current price might be a great entry point. Bitcoin is sitting at $112,650, down 8% from Friday\u2019s high.<\/p>\n

Open interest<\/a> has dropped to $33.5 billion from Friday\u2019s $44.2 billion, meaning a lot of leveraged positions have been cleared out. That kind of flush often sets the stage for a healthier bounce.<\/p>\n
