The initiative, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globenewswire.com\/news-release\/2025\/09\/18\/3152510\/0\/en\/Wall-Street-Finds-Its-Solmate-Brera-Holdings-PLC-NASDAQ-BREA-Announces-Oversubscribed-300-Million-Private-Placement-to-Fund-Establishment-of-Solana-Digital-Asset-Treasury-Backed-by.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">revealed on September 18<\/a>, was backed by Cathie Wood\u2019s Ark Invest, the UAE\u2019s Pulsar Group, RockawayX, and the Solana Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The money was raised through a private-in-public equity (PIPE) transaction, which was oversubscribed and led by Pulsar Group, indicating that institutional interest in Solana has increased. According to the announcement, the funds will be used to establish a Solana treasury in the UAE and to roll out staking hardware in Abu Dhabi. The initial undertaking will consist of rackmount servers that have been tailored for efficient Solana validation.<\/p>\n<p>The head of Solmate comprises crypto law expert and ex-<a href=\"https:\/\/kraken.pxf.io\/c\/6524329\/1758182\/10583\" rel=\"nofollow\">Kraken<\/a> CLO Marco Santori as CEO, with economist Arthur Laffer and RockawayX\u2019s Viktor Fischer as board members.
