Solana\u2019s had one hell of a ride this year. We saw SOL explode to an all-time high (ATH) of $295.83 in January before it sold off through spring. But since April, SOL has been quietly grinding higher, with some short pullbacks along the way.<\/p>\n

The token\u2019s steady climb back up tells you something important about where we are in the current market cycle. Instead of wild price swings driven by hype, SOL\u2019s been creating support levels that stick. That pattern usually happens before the really big moves occur.<\/p>\n

Everyone\u2019s now talking about a potential spot Solana ETF \u2013 and the pieces are starting to line up. Regulatory approval is never guaranteed, but the groundwork is there for these funds to go live before the end of 2025 \u2013 and that alone is enough to keep institutional buyers interested in SOL.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s also why projects built on Solana are seeing serious capital inflows. SOL Takes a Breather After Weekend Highs<\/h2>\n

After hitting $249 on Saturday \u2013 its highest price since January \u2013 Solana<\/a> has pulled back to $232, down about 7% from its weekend peak. It seems like classic profit-taking after such an aggressive run.<\/p>\n

On-chain data shows what\u2019s happening behind the scenes. Last week, one whale transferred over 620,000 SOL \u2013 worth roughly $117 million<\/a> \u2013 onto exchanges like OKX and Binance. When you see those kinds of exchange flows, selling usually follows.<\/p>\n

Also, SOL\u2019s exchange reserve ratio jumped to 8.2% \u2013 a 30-day high \u2013 while futures traders got wrecked in the past day with $19 million<\/a> in long liquidations. Spot volumes are way up too, which confirms all the selling pressure we\u2019re seeing.<\/p>\n

But zoom out, and this pullback isn\u2019t surprising. SOL is up 33% over the last 26 days, so some profit-taking was inevitable. The weekly trend is still intact, and most traders are watching $218 as the next support level for a potential rebound.<\/p>\n

Wall Street\u2019s Getting Serious About Spot SOL ETFs<\/h2>\n

The $300 target for SOL isn\u2019t wishful thinking anymore. The analyst Genuine Degen dropped some info today about Galaxy Digital investing billions in SOL, which helped fuel those weekly gains we just saw. He believes reaching $300 is possible if this trend continues.<\/p>\n

Plus, Mike Novogratz calling Solana \u201ctailor-made\u201d for financial markets has added to the buzz. The Galaxy CEO knows what institutional investors want to hear, and when he\u2019s backing something this hard, they listen.<\/p>\n
