Metaco had already partnered with BBVA prior to the buyout, making the Spanish integration a natural extension of that relationship.<\/p>\n<p>According to Francisco Maroto, BBVA\u2019s head of digital assets, the integration allows the bank to deliver an \u201cend-to-end custody service\u201d with the security and trust expected from a major financial institution.<\/p>\n<h2>Ripple\u2019s Expanding Network<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.com\/en\/square\/post\/29446158217953\" rel=\"nofollow\">partnership<\/a> builds on BBVA\u2019s existing crypto services in Switzerland and Turkey, where it already leverages Ripple\u2019s custody infrastructure. With Spain now on board, Ripple secures another foothold in Europe\u2019s increasingly regulated market.
