Bitcoin\u2019s price dipped below $113,000 again on Thursday after showing potential signs of a bottom earlier in the day. The past week has been disappointing for the market-leading asset, with its price dropping by 4.7% overall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, experienced investors understand that short-term price fluctuations have little impact on the long-term trend, especially when $BTC remains in a clear macro bull market with an 84% yearly gain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated on Wednesday that he anticipates a strong surge that could push Bitcoin to $1 million by 2030, supported by clear regulations paving the way for widespread adoption. He\u2019s not alone in this confident prediction; several other executives have forecasted similar returns.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And although Bitcoin has slowed this week, a new Bitcoin layer 2 called Bitcoin Hyper<\/a> is gaining traction, with over $11 million flowing into its ongoing presale. The project<\/span> ushers in technological innovations that may play a pivotal role in helping Bitcoin reach $1 million, which appears to be the driving force behind its presale momentum.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bitcoin to $1M as \u201cRegulatory Clarity is Finally Emerging\u201d<\/b><\/h2>\n

Coinbase\u2019s Brian Armstrong predicted Bitcoin\u2019s $1 million target on the \u201cCheeky Pint\u201d podcast on Wednesday. \u201cThe rough idea I have in my mind is that we\u2019ll see a million-dollar Bitcoin by 2030,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Armstrong shared a clip on X from the podcast in which he emphasized that clearer regulations are starting to take shape in the United States, which he called a \u201cbellwether for the rest of the G20.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He noted that the GENIUS bill marks an important milestone for the cryptocurrency industry, and he highlighted the market structure bill currently \u201cbeing debated\u201d in the Senate as another bullish signal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then he pointed to the US government\u2019s Bitcoin treasury, saying, \u201cThe United States government now has a strategic Bitcoin reserve. If you asked five years ago, someone would have said you\u2019re crazy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Regulatory clarity is finally emerging, the US government is keeping a BTC reserve, there's a growing interest for crypto ETFs, among many other factors.<\/p>\n
