The bank is actively developing its own blockchain-based payment tools, including a JPMorgan deposit coin and a limited-use stablecoin that is exclusively available to institutional clients.<\/p>\n<h2>Why JPMorgan Is Getting Involved<\/h2>\n<p>Stablecoins are digital tokens typically pegged to fiat currencies like the U.S. dollar and designed to maintain price stability.
