His reaction came after the outlet published a report on Friday alleging Binance\u2019s involvement in the development of the USD1 stablecoin.<\/p>\n

Taking to X, Zhao slammed<\/a><\/strong> the article as \u201canother hit piece,\u201d claiming it was likely backed by a rival firm. He said the goal was to spread fear, uncertainty, and doubt\u2014commonly known in crypto as \u201cFUD.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cToo many factual errors to count,\u201d Zhao wrote in his post. \u201cMight have to sue them again for defamation.\u201d<\/p>\n

What Bloomberg reported<\/h2>\n

The controversial Bloomberg report cites three unnamed sources. According to them, Binance allegedly wrote the base smart contract code for USD1, a stablecoin recently under scrutiny.<\/p>\n

He did not specify which parts of the article he disputed, but his statement strongly rejected any suggestion of Binance\u2019s technical involvement in USD1.<\/p>\n
