The acquisition<\/a><\/strong>, finalized at an average price of \u00a515.13 million per coin (approximately $105,000), brings the firm\u2019s total Bitcoin reserves to 7,800 BTC.<\/p>\n

The most recent purchase, valued at roughly \u00a515.19 billion (or $105.5 million), was confirmed in an official notice signed by Metaplanet\u2019s Representative Director, Simon Gerovich. The company\u2019s total Bitcoin investment has now surpassed \u00a5105 billion (around $732 million), with its average cost basis sitting at \u00a513.51 million per coin.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s notable is the pace of accumulation. Since the beginning of April, Metaplanet has added 3,754 BTC to its treasury \u2014 nearly doubling its position from 4,046 BTC held at the end of March. In just under three weeks this May alone, the firm has acquired over 2,200 BTC, ramping up from 5,555 BTC on May 7 to 7,800 BTC by May 19.<\/p>\n
