James Seyffart, an analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, emphasized the unprecedented nature of IBIT\u2019s rise, noting that it outpaced all other ETFs, regardless of asset class, to achieve its milestones. With its current asset base and a 0.25% expense ratio, IBIT could generate roughly $112 million annually.<\/p>\n

The shift in BlackRock\u2019s stance on Bitcoin<\/a> <\/strong>has been significant, with CEO Larry Fink, once a critic of Bitcoin, now recognizing it as \u201cdigital gold.\u201d This shift in perspective, combined with BlackRock\u2019s robust ETF history, paved the way for the approval and launch of the first U.S. Bitcoin ETFs in January.
