As one of Europe\u2019s leading central banks, the Bundesbank\u2019s participation<\/a> <\/strong>signals progress toward integrating digital assets into mainstream finance. The bank is actively involved in pilot projects under Project Guardian, focused on building a blockchain platform that can enable efficient, cross-border asset management.<\/p>\n

Burkhard Balz, an Executive Board member of the Bundesbank, highlighted how the project aligns with Europe\u2019s exploration of distributed ledger technology (DLT) and blockchain applications in finance.<\/p>\n
