This is a decrease from the 5.3% rate recorded in July of the previous year. Meanwhile, inflation across the European Union rose to 2.8% in July 2024, compared to 2.6% the previous month, and down from 6.1% a year ago.<\/p>\n

The lowest annual inflation rates were seen in Finland (0.5%), Latvia (0.8%), and Denmark (1.0%). Conversely, Romania (5.8%), Belgium (5.4%), and Hungary (4.1%) reported the highest rates.<\/p>\n
